Meeting Dates and Summaries for Years 2010-1
Our monthly meetings have been moved to the second Thursday of the month beginning April of 2005.
AMICUE meetings are held once a month at Archbishop Jordan High School in Sherwood Park. The meeting starts at
7:00 P.M. on the second Thursday of each month.
There is a doorbell that you can ring as the door is normally locked. If you want to demo
something let Bob Habkirk or Craig Makarowski know.
Generally the meeting consist of a social chat followed by general Amiga information and demonstrations of hardware and/or software.
This is followed by a social meeting and general discussions held at the Boston Pizza in Sherwood Park.
There is also a weekly coffee gathering Saturdays at Haps Hungry House on Stony Plain Road and 159 St at 2 PM until closing.
Another weekly event is the Sunday Night Asha IRC chat. The chat starts at 7 PM to 9 PM MST every Sunday night. IRC chats also include the sending of sounds, so we have an online library to help get you started.
Meetings are an excellent source of information, if you are new to computing or to the Amiga. Topics of discussion are normally split between Amiga and general computing subjects.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
AMICUE has one very active SIG. The Animation SIG meets once a month on the last Thursday of each month.
. Contact Larry Bolch for more information.
Another SIG has recently started. The new WEB SIG is about everything to do with software development for the Internet. This can be Amiga related or not. The SIG is always looking for members.
